LA-SAFE Grid app for iPhone and iPad

Built for the Louisiana State Analytic Fusion Center (LA-SAFE), the LA-SAFE Grid app enhances collaboration by allowing LA-SAFE mission partners to receive critical alerts, to find each other by location, proximity or specialty; and with permission to then connect and collaborate one-to-one or in groups, share images, location and real-time intelligence in instant messaging conversations or a 1-click conference calls.

DISCOVER
Find and connect with other LA-SAFE mission partners.

MESSAGE
Private 1:1 and group chat. Share images, video and your location. Create or edit the name of group conversations you start. Notifications will alert you to new messages received. View information on all participants in a group chat even if youre not connected. Start an instant teleconference with your chat group with just one tap.

ALERTS
Receive critical alerts instantly from the LA-SAFE and other commanders. Acknowledge received alerts with "Accept" or "Reject" status, or choose "Reply" to alert sender with additional input. Push notifications will let you know when a new alert is received. Read receipts let your coordinator know whether youve seen the alert. A backup email will let you know about an alert when youre away from your phone.

GEO-CAST
Broadcast your location to the LA-SAFE if requested. LA-SAFE Grid will continue transmitting your location at a battery-friendly interval until you tap the button again to turn it off or logout.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

COMPLIANCE, PRIVACY AND SECURITY
LA-SAFE Grid encrypts your data in transit and at rest. The app follows NIST, DoD and FedRamp protocols and is approved by the National Fusion Center Association.
